While shopping at the store with the family this week, we went down an aisle with all of the Christmas candy. My daughter said, “Oh, my favorite aisle!” As we looked at all the fun candy, my daughter surprised me by saying, “Mommy, do you know what Christmas is really about?”
She proceeded to tell me that Christmas wasn’t about candy, gifts and lights but about sharing and baby Jesus.

My daughter watched VeggieTales: Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas twice this week. She loves it. Which makes me quite happy. I love being able to have quality Christian entertainment in our home. I love the story about helping a local family in need. It is important all year to be sharing God’s love in a practical way, but a reminder at the holidays is timely. It is fun that a new character, Silas the Okra, is being played by such a popular TV icon. This DVD is a perfect addition to our already growing VeggieTales video library, this DVD is a new must watch DVD for the holiday season.
