This week, I mentioned how scents evoke a strong reaction in people. That certain scents can brings us back to a specific time, a specific memory. The smell of bacon frying in a pan always reminds me of my grandmother. She cooked breakfast on the weekend when I’d stay the night. I don’t eat bacon now, but if I smell it cooking in the frying pan, I am taken back to a time of happiness.
