This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Michelina’s for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

freezer meals

I will be honest. Some days life is so busy with two kids that I pull out a frozen meal. It is just easier. But frozen meals sometime need a little bit more to make them taste fresh. Michelina’s is helping us moms out by giving us some great ideas to to Make It Your Michelina’s.

5 Ideas to Improve Your Frozen Meals

rice and beans recipe

  • Whole Wheat Dough Filled With Michelina’s Sante Fe Style Rice & Beans
  • Mediterranean Pasta Dinner with Michelina’s Tortellini Alfredo
  • BRUSCHETTE SICILIANI with Michelina’s Fettuccine Alfredo
  • Cheeseburger Wheel Pasta with Michelina’s Wheels & Cheese
  • Fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli and Sun Dried Tomatoes with Michelina’s Fettucini Alfredo

If I had to improve on Michelina’s frozen meals, I’d like to try:

spaghetti marinara

Michelina’s Spaghetti Marinara paired with vegetarian meatballs or vegetarian Italian sausage.

macaroni & cheese

Michelina’s Macaroni & Cheese paired with vegetarian chili, vegetarian hamburger, or vegetarian hotdogs.

four cheese lasagna

Michelina’s Four Cheese Lasagna pair with spinach and broccoli and vegetarian burger crumbles.

It is actually pretty easy to Make It Your Own. Pairing a frozen meal with fresh ingredients makes a lot of sense and your kids are sure to like it just as much as you do. Give it a try for yourself!

How would your Make It Your Michelina’s?

I love how you’d add on to each of the meals! I’d probably do the same with a couple of them.

I think it would make the freezer meals even better this way. A little goes a long way!

Love your ideas to enhance Michelina’s, I would add some sauces or my fav spices: oregano or basil.

Yes, adding more spices is a great idea. I didn’t even think of that! Thank you.

I’d love to try the lasagna too!! I can’t even remember the last time I ever had lasagna….!

I don’t eat lasagna very often either. So time consuming to make but I do love it. This would be a quick way to enjoy it 😉

I would get the mac and cheese and sprinkle in some bacon pieces!

I LOVE freezer meals. I normally make my own but I love how you can add to these to make them your own. Perfect for those busy days!

I think making your own is such a great idea! I have an entire board of Freezer Meals (that I don’t make). I need to get into that habit!

You know I don’t when the last time I had a frozen meal but I do know that when I do I always have to add some seasonings to them, even pizzas. I suppose that when I start college in January I will be all too familiar with those frozen meals again…….so thanks for sharing your ideas, I am probably going to need them.
