So from Tuesday July 23rd through Wednesday July 31st, I was camping on our annual Canoe Journey. Camping for an entire week with two young kids is actually not very easy. It is a lot of work. I realized that being home, having a staycation, would have been much easier with young children. Things like eating healthy, washing your face each night, and brushing your teeth twice a day are not always easy. Thankfully, I had the Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush to keep my teeth clean.

So, there were days that I could only brush my teeth once while camping. We weren’t nearby a bathroom a few of the nights and by evening I was exhausted. This battery powered toothbrush is so high power, your face actually shakes while using it. Before brushing, my teeth often felt like they were covered in a sweater. After brushing with the Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush? They felt the same as when I go to my dental hygienist. My teeth felt so clean this week. Camping with Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush was definitely my must have toiletry item this week. I will be purchasing the replacement heads for this toothbrush.

A month’s worth of brush strokes in one day is how the Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush is advertised. This brand new battery powered toothbrush is now available for purchase at Walmart for under $20. You can even purchase replacement heads. Toothbrushes sure have come a long way! Check out the evolution of toothbrushes in this cool video:

My husband wants to take our kids camping (4,3, and 18 months); he says he remembers how much fun it was when he was young. I told him to call his mom and ask how much fun it was for her before I agree to go!! And omg, we love our sonicare. We even had one one on our wedding registry!

It was hard to camp for a week with our kids. We won’t be doing that again for a couple more years I think. Backyard tent camping is just fine with young kids! 🙂

It’s been a while since we’ve gone camping. I still need to pick up a sonicare for myself.

I think we will wait a couple more summers before attempting it again. It was difficult with two young kids!

I love my Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush. Unfortunately, I already have to get a new replacement head for mine. Just a few days after using it for the first time I got strep throat. Don’t want to reinfect myself. I’ll get a new head as soon as I can get out to Walmart.

There was a $5 off coupon in the Sunday paper for it which is such a great savings. I saved the paper so I think I will go get replacement heads. I hope you are feeling better now.

I love that you took this camping with you for a whole week! LOL…no one wants a sweater on their teeth! Very helpful review, LaVonne! And yes, you are a brave woman doing that with 2 kids!

There were a few days there that I felt bad for my husband. When the bathroom isn’t close by, it makes personal hygiene difficult 🙂 He he he!

Camping was always a great way we spent time together as a family! We haven’t been in a while and the kids are at the age they would really enjoy it. I can’t wait to take them when the weather cools down.
