Push Gift Ideas for Friends

July 15, 2013 By LaVonne

Spread the love

Push gifts are generally gifts given to a new mom from the husband or significant other. These are gifts to say thank you for pushing the baby out. I first heard about a push gift after my son was born last summer. I love the idea of a push gift and thought it would be nice to have a push gift idea for friends.

Jewelry is the general gift for a push gift but I like to think outside the box for a friend. Here are nine push gift ideas that I think are great for a friend who has just had a baby:

  • Magazine Subscription (there are so many for new parents out there)
  • Babysitting Coupons
  • Food Delivery and/or Grocery Delivery
  • DulcoEase® Pink™ (trust me, she’ll need it)
  • Teething jewelry (you can find cute items to wear and use for your little one’s new teeth)
  • Soft pajamas and robe
  • Spa gift certificate
  • Housecleaning gift certificate
  • Sleep machine

What do you think would have made a great push gift after you had your children?

DulcoEase® Pink™ Stool Softener is a stimulant-free laxative containing the #1 OB/GYN recommended stool softener ingredient. Stimulant-free constipation relief The #1 OB/GYN recommended stool softener ingredient. If you’re pregnant or breast feeding, ask your doctor if you should think Pink.

Every new mother’s toolkit should include DulcoEase® Pink™, the #1 OB/GYN recommended ingredient* for going #2. So if you are pregnant or breast feeding, ask your doctor if you should think Pink.

I wouldn’t have thought to put a stool softener in a Push gift kit, but it does sound like a very reasonable idea!

I think a housecleaning certificate would be divine! I had never heard of a push gift before…might have to look into this, lol

Right!?! But I love this idea. Labor with #2 was pretty hard. I could have used an awesome push gift 🙂

I never heard of a push gift before, but this is very apt timing as my sister just gave birth to her first child. Great suggestions!

It is a sad truth, but this is a must for any mom getting ready to have a baby! no one tells you that you are going to need it, but oh man do you need it!

I’ve never heard of a “push” gift. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I think I would have rather had a gift for being a new mommy but not necessarily call it a push gift. Pushing was something I wanted to forget about lol!

Totally a need and most new Mamas don’t know just how much they will NEED it!
