I don’t wear a lot of makeup. With two young kids, I honesty don’t have a lot of time to apply makeup. I do love makeup though and love to learn how to apply makeup. What I like about this eye color and brush is that it applies well and looks great. I can give myself a bit of a smoky eye with this great color but it isn’t too dark for everyday wear either. I am normally a powder shadow kind of girl, but I am really digging this cream eye color.

I agree, Christy. When I can see it on a video it is easier to apply. The little drawings you find on the makeup don’t help me, but I trust Mary Kay and their make up artists for sure!
Great post! I am a long time Mary Kay fan, and user. I have several ‘must have’ MK products, like their Botanical Skin Care line, the Lash Love Mascara, their Facial Cleansing Cloths, Oil Blotter Sheets, and Gentle Eye Make up Remover. MK is the only makeup and skincare brand that has never let me down!
I used to buy their concealer and loved it. I just moved and didn’t find a new consultant. I need to get it again. They make such quality products!
I really do not wear make up at all anymore! And at my age I have to stay away from cream eye shadows!! (too many creases in the eye area these days!) If I have to wear it for any reason I throw on a two tone eyeshadow (white then a grey) some blush a bit of mascara and lipstick(it has to be creamy)
You know, I wish I was someone who really knew about makeup. It seems when I put it on I put on too little or too much… But I love your post and tips. Definitely have to check out Mary Kay!
I have a hard time branching out from my normal, everyday colors. I will check out the videos and Mary Kay to see what else I could do!
I love Mary Kay products and will continue to buy them. I loved this brush for cream eye shadow. Always been intimidated by creamy shadows and I feel like this brush made it so easy to apply.
I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but when I get tired of people asking if I’m ill or tired, I pick up my eyeliner and mascara to perk my look up. Since I’m still using the same make-up application techniques that I learned over 20 years ago, it’s probably time I checked out some of these videos!
