Easy Summertime Dessert

Thank you Easy Home Meals for sponsoring today’s post.
easy summertime dessert

Do you have a favorite summertime dessert? The last two summers my go to dessert has been a simple bowl of strawberries, blueberries with a a packet of Stevia and whipped topping. Since I have been on Weight Watchers, this simple summertime dessert has been perfect. When I use just a dollop (1 TB or so) of lite or fat free whipped topping {the kind in the refrigerator case in a can} this dessert is 0 points plus! Now that is the kind of dessert I like to eat!

What is your favorite summertime dessert?

When you are looking for a great summertime recipe, the refrigerator case is the perfect place to look at your local grocery store. The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) is committed to showing us that a great and tasty recipe can easily be made with food that come right from the dairy aisle.

What I love about products that can be found on this aisle is they are simple, farm grown, and can fit into almost any kind of recipe, including an easy summertime dessert. You can find milk, cheese, dips, potatoes, yogurt, eggs, and even whipping cream, cookie dough, and pie crust! The variety of the refrigerator case enables us to make great dishes and even on Weight Watchers, many of the products I buy that are low points can be found her. (I am hooked on Greek yogurt, organic butter, organic egg whites, string cheese, and cheddar cheese!)

I love fresh fruit too, but I must confess, I’m a full-fledged whipped cream girl. If I’m going to have it, I’m going to enjoy it. ๐Ÿ™‚
