Thank you Robert Rose Publishing for sponsoring today’s post.

printable canning jar labels

I love canning. I have salmon, apple pie filling, blackberry pie filling, and apple butter still from last year’s canning. I cannot wait to do more! Did you know that there is more than canning you can do with a glass jar? Deserts in a Jar is all the rage now. So fun and easy. {More about that later in the post!} First here are 10 FREE printable canning jar labels that you can use for canning or for desserts in a jar:

desserts in a jar

From free printables to an exciting new book: 150 Best Desserts in a Jar by Andrea Jourdan.

About 150 Best Desserts in a Jar

Whether it’s a beveled antique jar you’ve picked up at a flea market or that classic Mason jar at the back of your kitchen cupboard, any jar is a sparkling, creative and beautiful way to prepare and serve divine desserts. All of the sublime recipes are single- serving treats, which makes them the perfect ending to your next family meal or dinner party. They’re so charming and pretty, they make the perfect gift, and they stay fresh and travel well, so they’re the perfect make-ahead option.

Andrea has developed an astonishing array of recipes that are loads of fun to make — everything from puddings and cobblers to pies and cakes. And because the jars allow for freezing or setting in layers, you get incredibly beautiful colors and textures.

This book is well organized with all the information you need to start making your own desserts in a jar. From traditional desserts like cobblers and cakes to trifles and Tiramisu – 150 Best Desserts in a Jar is great addition to your cookbook collection. The only thing that I wish I could change about this book would be color photos for each recipe. You will only find 24 color photos in this book.

Here are the 3 recipes I’d like to make first:

  • Banana pudding with salted caramel sauce
  • Strawberry rhubarb shortcake
  • Cold strawberry orange soup
