Thank you Nuby for sponsoring today’s post.
My Little Man loves bath time. I mean he absolutely loves it. He loves the water. If he could take two baths a day, he would. I am glad that he isn’t afraid of the water. But, while he has no fear of water, we have followed some important bath safety tips with him.
Here are 3 Essential Bath Safety Tips for Baby:
1. Temperature: 120 degrees F – warm but not too hot. Professionals recommend testing the temperature with your elbow or wrist. Keep baby away from faucets so they don’t turn it on.
2. Don’t leave baby alone or unattended. A sibling should not be responsible to watch the baby in the bath tub!
3. Cover the spout so your baby doesn’t hit their head.
What other bath safety tips do you have?
One reason I think that our Little Man loves bath time is because he loves playing with toys in the tub. Bath time toys are such fun. His new favorite toy is the Splish Splash™ Stacking Cups from Nuby™.
The Nûby™ Splish Splash™ Bath Time Stacking Cups teach coordination and development. Stacking bath cups are a bath time classic and provide endless fun. Your baby can stack them together, put things inside, and watch the water drain from the bottom of the cup. Nûby™ has created another fun and educational item, designed with your baby in mind!
I love that the stacking cups are BPA free and feature primary colors and shapes. I can point out the colors and shapes while my Little Man is bathing. He is playing and learning at the same time. He loves filling the cups with water and watching the water drain from the many holes at the bottom of the cups. My biggest hurdle is trying to get him to not drink up all his bath water while he is in the tub.

I totally agree about covering the spout, not only for baby but to protect mama too. I’ve bumped my head so many times!
