When we went to the dollar store buy items to make a Easter Basket gift we also purchased some fun items to make these little mini Easter Gift buckets. We got three small white buckets in the package and decided to use the grass from the basket we made. After adding ears, “whiskers”, a nose, and a tail, we then put four bubble gum eggs in it for my Princess’ new friends here in Arkansas.
We had fun making this craft together. I think next time we will get googly eyes to put on the bunny face. We didn’t do chocolate or marshmallow with this craft since we weren’t sure what her new friends ate. But we figured gum was safe. {You will notice the bag is somewhat empty – my Princess loves to chew gum!}
For our Easter Gift Bucket we used:
- White Mini Buckets
- Construction Paper
- Pom Poms
- Pipe Cleaners (not pictured)
- Bubble Gum Eggs
- Artificial Grass (not pictured above)
When we travel around the county, we always go to the local dollar store for crafts. It is a cheap way to make things, give gifts, and have fun. My Princess LOVES crafts and giving gifts. The dollar store is a big win for us!

How adorable! We actually just did some similar baskets ourselves. Doesn’t the dollar store have some great finds? Hope the kids enjoy their treats and Happy Easter!

So very cute. And, I may or may not have eaten a bag of that gum with my sister a couple weeks ago.
