Traveling With a Baby: Our Essentials

We are off for our first travels this year. Traveling with baby can be tricking. We are driving 10 hours to a very lovely town on the ocean in Northern California. 10 hours in the car with my Little Man… I am nervous! Thankfully, I am prepared. Well, as prepared as I can be.

Here our the essentials for us when we  are traveling with a baby:

1. Snacks – yes my Little Man is eating snacks. There are a wide variety of organic cereal Os, banana crackers, and rice crackers that he loves. I have stocked up on them all. We are overflowing with snacks.

2. Soft blanket – there is something about a soft blanket around you on a car drive that just makes you want to sleep. That is my prayer, just sleep, sleep, sleep…

3. Sippy Cup – now that he can easily drink out of a sippy cup, my Little Man cannot get enough water. That is fine with me!

4. Toys – a bag full of baby toys are essential. I can hand him one at a time and he can stay occupied and not get bored in the backseat facing the wrong direction {there are days he HATES his car seat…}

Here is what we love about this mobile:

• it fits int the palm of your hand {perfect for travel!}

See that ribbon hanging from the bell in the center? That is what my Little Man loves. Trying to grab that and bite it. Whatever makes him happy!
