We are working on rhyming in our Preschool Homeschool. My Princess loves to try to rhyme. Sometimes her rhyming is not so good. For example, she might say that whale and water rhyme. So one way we are teaching her to rhyme is by using games.
Pop For Rhyming is a game from Learning Resources that we love. It is compact, easy, and fun – a great combo for our traveling busy family.
We are playing level one of this game currently. Spin, remove the number of bubble cards, and rhyme with the picture shown. The first player to get 10 bubble cards wins. But, getting ahead can sometimes be deceiving. If you get a Pop card, you must place your bubble cards to the side and start over. {It has happened to me, just when I thought I was going to win!} We play this game family style. So instead of Daddy and Mommy just saying one rhyme we think of as many rhymes as we can.
Wouldn’t you love to play this game with your preschooler? Well, you can. You can purchase it at Learning Resources for only $9.99. You are in luck too, Learning Resources is giving away Pop For Rhyming to one lucky Long Wait For Isabella reader. Enter the Rafflecopter form below for your chance to win!
