We are enjoying life in Indiana this fall. Our Little Man just turned 5 months old and he has adjusted very nicely to the time zone difference. I am putting him to bed every night by 8pm and he is such a good little sleeper. {Thank the Lord.} He is in love with his hands and feet. He is always grabbing his feet trying in vain to get them in his mouth. Plus, he can watch his hands for long periods of time. He passes his teething rings from one hand to another over and over. It is so cute.
My Princess is happy playing at the local park. {It has 3 different playgrounds!}ย I like it too because it has a 1/3 mile loop around the parks and I can stroller walk and get some much needed exercise.
The public library is right next door and we are literally there every other day getting new books and videos. She is hooked on books. I am thankful for that. I read her new books every day – and I am loving it too. Behind our home here in Indiana is a river. A very nice lady let us use her fishing rod, gear and even worms and the Princess has been going with daddy to their favorite fishing hole.
She even took the camera from daddy and took an awesome self portrait. {She is so cute!}
We have gone to:
- the zoo in Indianapolis
- visited the largest mall in Indiana – Castleton Mall {not very large at all}
- and visited the #1 rated city {according to Money magazine} in the US – Carmel, IN
We still want to do more things while we are here. We had some ugly weather this week due to Hurricane Sandy. Thankfully, it was nothing compared to the East Coast {we are still praying for all the East Coasters}.
Our seminar is going great – we are still in awe of how God works in people’s lives. It is exciting to be part of God’s working. We had a cop coming to our seminar. Which prompted my Princess to ask if cops work at night. She then asked her daddy why he couldn’t be a cop. He told her cops have to carry guns and sometimes shoot people. To which she replied, “That’s okay, Jesus would still love you.”
It is hard to believe it is November already!
Where has 2012 gone!?!

There’s something about that slide, that just makes it look really fun!
I’ve got family in Carmel, and they are always doing so many cool things. Indiana seems like a great place to live and visit.
What a cutie pie your daughter is! I love how innocent and open kids are. Especially with their thoughts on feelings on Jesus.

Carmel is so nice. We love going over there. We have heard that the Children’s Museum is the largest in the country so we are quite excited about that.
Thanks for coming by and for your nice compliment! Blessings ๐

Love the fall colors. We do not have that in Texas yet (it’s 88 here today). And she did a wonderful job on her self-portrait! She even caught the sun flare which is awesome!

What is crazy is those same trees now have no leaves. In one week’s time they are all gone!

That’s one huge slide. The climb up is enough to give you a nose bleed. Wow! Sounds like you’re having a nice time thus far in Indiana.
LaVonne says
It is huge. We were scared about her climbing it at first but now we are not so worried. She does great. We have been going to this same park for the last two weeks whenever it has been nice enough. ๐
