Learning to Whistle

September 4, 2012 By LaVonne

Spread the love

My Princess is getting so big. Last week I talked about learning to tie her shoes and now she is whistling. Learning to whistle is not easy, and with lots of practice she is doing really well.

She is so excited to be making her own music by whistling.

Four years old and she can whistle!

Carol, you are not the only adult that has told me that. A few of our family friends told us they cannot whistle either. She has been pretending to whistle for a couple years, and just figured it out on her own.

Whistling is such a fun skill to learn. I remember teaching all four of my kids. She’s growing up!

I’m not a good whistler at all and I’m 23 lol.
Our almost 5 yr old THINKS she can whistle, but its really a high pitched squeal. She also tries to blow bubbles with gum. That’s hard to teach too.

    Congrats on learning to whistle!!!

Michelle, she pretended for a couple years – making the lip motion and making a “noise” too. It was cute. She is so happy that she whistles all the time now.
