Spread the love

It’s hard to believe that St. Patrick’s Day is coming up. Where is this year going? It is flying by!  I want to share with you all some great St Patrick’s Day kids activities! We generally don’t do much here in the Long house for St. Patrick’s Day but we do like to do simple festive things with the kids.

St Patricks Day For Kids

First, it’s fun to start the day off with a St. Patrick’s Day breakfast. Rainbow cereal and green dyed milk is such an easy thing to do, don’t you think? Plus, it’s a special treat my kids don’t get too often.

I like the educational things too. I almost did a whole post on St. Patrick’s Day Homeschool pins but decided there was too much other fun stuff too.

What a cute idea for a shamrock! And easy to make too.

Very easy to make, Cecile. Plus, it is something my 4 year old would love to do.

I’ve always wanted to make a rainbow cake. This could be the reason 🙂 I just need to track down some gel food coloring for the bright colors. I haven’t done anything with Mr 4 in the past, but I might do something this year.

I want to make a rainbow cake too. Have not tried it yet, but this would be great. My parents anniversary is the 18th, so this might be a good time for me to try too.

Great ideas, love the hair! I don’t give my kids/teachers anything for St. Patrick’s Day, do most people?

I didn’t growing up, Dede. But maybe it is getting popular now? Not sure, since my daughter is not in school yet.

Lots of fun ideas here! We normally don’t do anything special with the kids but maybe we should start.
