I received a great surprise at my midwife appointment last week. I learned that I have a ovarian cyst. My midwife assured me not too worry – that it was quite common.
So, what do you think I did right when I got home?
Googled it.
Then, of course I got worried.
Ovarian Cysts
-occur in 1 in 1,000 women
-1 in 25,000 get ovarian cancer
– the pain from a ruptured ovarian cyst can cause pre-term labor and even miscarriage
What?
Now, how can I not worry? Constantly, every day?
I know, I need to rely on God and trust Him. I mean, I prayed for this child. I prayed to get pregnant in September so I could have this baby in June. God answered that prayer. The first month we “tried” and I got pregnant. God is so good!
But, I still worry.
So pray for me. Pray for my baby. Pray that I get peace and just leave it in God’s hands.
Resolutions for this New Year?
Not really a resolution but a prayer for good health this year. For me, my baby, my extended family and friends and especially my sister in law. (I need to give you all the latest update soon. We got more bad news.)
