I wanted an Ice Cream Social birthday party- but my Princess emphatically stated she wanted a Barbie birthday party for her 4th birthday this last weekend. Who am I to argue with a girl who knows her mind.
So, off to the grocery store, her and daddy went. They picked out a Barbie cake. (She said no cupcakes this year, she wants a cake!) Then, my husband and I went to Party City to find Barbie party decor. We found plates, cups, napkins, decorations, wrapping paper, and some banners.
Grocery store cake = $20.
Barbie decor at Party City = $57!
Total = $77
Wow! Next, time I might just need to check Etsy.
With a recent death in our family and also a brain surgery as well, we didn’t plan this 4th party as well as I wanted, but it turned out great. But best of all our Princess LOVED it and that makes us happy.
