Imagine my surprise two nights ago when my the door to my bedroom started shaking. I thought my Princess was trying to get in. When I jumped up to open it, there was nothing on the other side.
I found out the next day, it was a 4.8 earthquake. The second largest on record in Oklahoma. Wow!
Then the following night, while watching the late night news, my husband and I felt the house shaking again. And yes, the doors were shaking as well. I said to him, “What is that?”
He said, “Earthquake!” And proceeded to check on our Princess – who of course did not feel it at all. Her first earthquake and she has no idea!
Exciting, yet scary, we found out that a 5.6 earthquake had hit and it was the record for the biggest earthquake in the state of Oklahoma.
Crazy!
I don’t remember if I told you all, that in August when we were in Maryland, that crazy unexpected East Coast earthquake hit. Then after that earthquake the hurricane hit.

We have been having a crazy weather year!
I just keep praying that no more earthquakes happen while we are here. We only have one week left! (I don’t want them to keep getting bigger!)
