As my Princess gets closer to four years old, it is funny to have conversations with her. She is learning well how to explaining herself, arguing her case, and just communicating more effectively.
On our way to Oklahoma we had to take a smaller plane from Denver to Tulsa. The rows only had 2 seats on either side of the aisle. The Princess choose to sit by daddy, who can play games with her and not get airsick. (Plus, I am pregnant and even sicker!) A stranger, of course, sat next to me. To which my Princess said, quite loudly,
“Are you sitting by a human?”
I guess in her mind, a human has become synonymous with a stranger. I just smiled and said, “Yes, I am sitting next to a human.”
When we arrived at our home here in Oklahoma, we were excited to see such an open large living room area. The Princess can run wild and dance through the living room at very fast speeds and she loves it. Perfect for my child with an overabundance of energy.
She was getting a little carried away and I told her to be careful she might poke her eye out. To which she told mommy quite emphatically,
“Well, I have one more eye to see out of.”
My Princess is so goofy. I am sure she makes my husband and I laugh everyday at something she says.
She is in a new phase of announcing every time she passes gas. Loudly, wherever we are she says,
“I farted!”
I keep trying to explain to her that she can say, “Excuse me” if someone hears her or she can just not say anything. But please, do not keep saying you farted out loud… people just don’t do that. She is not convinced.
She is honest at least!
