While we were in Lancaster County, we visited the Amish Village. It was so much fun taking a tour of the house and grounds and learning more about how the Amish live.
One building on the grounds was the Amish School House. My Princess really loved going in that building and sitting in the old fashioned desks. She asked her daddy to sit at the teacher’s desk and pretend to be the teacher. She, of course, was the student.
Daddy: “Do you have any questions, student?“
Princess: “How do you fight bad guys?“
Daddy: “Karate“
The other 4 people who happened to be in the room just laughed, and laughed some more.
I don’t know where she comes up with this stuff!
