Toddler Tennis Shoes

I don’t think I have mentioned that we call our Princess’ tennis shoes Baby Jaguars.

She loves Go, Diego, Go from Nickelodeon. Baby Jaguar is his “sidekick”. We started calling her tennis shoes Baby Jaguars before she turned two, I am sure.

She calls them that too, of course. I am not sure she has ever said the term “tennis shoes”.

If she is wearing her church shoes, tearing around the church halls {as she often is}, we say,

“Be careful, you are not wearing your baby jaguars and you might fall.”

Now she truly believes she can run faster if she has her baby jaguars on.

{We have been buying her “skater” shoes from Ross for the last two years. The tennis shoe are always under $20. These ones are cute Etnies but we have also found DC and Roxy ones there. She is already in size 9!}
