Well the last two days my Princess has been in a mood. She cut her foot on the bathroom stool and got her first canker sore.
After a night of tossing and turning, she woke up and wanted to watch some Treehouse cartoons. {You know the ones that drive me crazy?}
So I let her.
While cleaning up the bathroom and making the bed, she ran in.
In such a hurry, she threw open her dresser drawers and said quite impatiently,
“I need my skirt!”
Of course I asked why she needed her skirt.
She gave me that look, like I was not a smart person, and the she replied,
“So I can dance!”
{Duh, mom!} She didn’t say that but I felt like she would if she used my childhood vernacular.
One of her favorite cartoons was starting and she loved the opening song so much she felt like she need to dance to it.
If only I had my camera ready to capture that innocent, lovely, goofy, dancing…
