Bad news.
Our van was broken into this weekend. This weekend, a high weekend where people were baptized at church and made a commitment to God. (Of course, this is when it would happen.)
They stole our Epson Projector that we use for our seminars. And my Nikon D50 dSLR camera that I received as a gift from my parents.
I was bummed for about 30 minutes. I mean, really truly upset.
Then, I realized that God is in control. I really need to trust Him.
No one was hurt. Our van was not damaged.
The person who stole from us, is so desperate and lost, I actually feel bad for them. (The Bible is clear about stealing and thieves.) So instead, I will pray for that person. Maybe they will feel bad and return the items to the house we were staying at.
So now I am in going to be buying a new camera.
