I am not sure why, but my husband brought in my Princess’ scooter. She is not allowed to ride it in the house, especially the guest house we are staying in. So bringing it in here has proven to be a temptation too strong for the Princess.
After getting in trouble for trying to ride it (she told me she was in a race), she motioned to the empty wall and said,
“The sign says you can only race with a scooter, no running.”
I replied, “Well, you can’t read, it actually says ‘No riding a scooter in the house’.”
She looked at the blank wall with 2 nails that once held a photo and said,
“I don’t see a sign mommy!”
