My parents god-daughter died. She was only 22.
Back in May the doctors gave her 2 weeks to live, and I asked for you all to pray for her.
Well, after much more time than the doctors thought possible, she died. On New Year’s Eve only about 20 minutes before midnight.
She was happy and at peace those last days. Her friends and family were able to spend time with her and say goodbye. Her last Facebook entry simply said, “So happy.”
Though everyone is sad, they expected it to happen. We are all thankful that we have a hope in Heaven. Jesus has made that hope a reality.
One day I will see her again, with a perfect body, in Heaven.
What a glorious day that will be!
“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.” 1 Corinthians 15: 51-53
