We are on a little vacation from our vacation. Well, I am at least.
I flew to California with the hubby for his work. I am enjoying some rest, relaxation, shopping and girl time while he has meetings. And our Princess is at home with Papa and Nana.
I didn’t miss her on the airplane or at the staff appreciation dinner. Sorry, girl. It was nice to read a magazine and order a Ginger Ale without having to entertain a toddler on the airplane. Plus, we actually got to enjoy our nice meal and visit with adults at our Christmas dinner.
I miss snuggling in the morning. The two of us are the same. We love sleep in and when we wake up we snuggle for like 2o minutes before we can crawl out of bed. Some mornings we just fall right back to sleep. (I know, my life is so hard!)
The first night away she cried for less than a minutes before being comforted by Nana and falling back asleep (while I tossed and turned).
When I called her to say goodnight the second night, she didn’t even want to talk to me. Nana had to make her say goodnight. All she wanted was to watch Santa Paws. (As my heart breaks.)
So yes, this has been harder for me than her.
I think I better just enjoy my little vacation while I can!
