I mentioned in my Homeschool week 2 post that we found a great book at the library:
We love pipe cleaners! Fun, cheap, crafts are the best. Here are some of the creations we have come up with:
Those are tulips, a carrot, a bee and a caterpillar, of course. (No, we didn’t say we were the most talented crafters, but we always have FUN!)
We also went to Kohl’s this week and found a great Melissa & Doug craft – Decorate Your Own Piggybank on clearance for $3! It was well worth the price. Fun for 45 minutes.
Here is my Princess’ finished product:
And the last creation we are working on is a Creation book. We are coloring a page per day. Here is what we have done so far:
We really love Craft Time here at our Homeschool Preschool. It works for us!
I have even got into the craft mood. I have been making paper beads out of colorful magazine pages. You can find many tutorials online. The Princess even tries to make her own large beads. We are having fun.
What kind of crafts do you like to do? Toddler crafts? I’d love to hear some ideas.
One great idea I got was a book about hand crafts. Outlining your hand on paper and making simple crafts with it. I am already planning to do a Turkey.
I also wanted to share a little bloggy love, 2 blogs I follow: ABC and 1,2,3, and My Delicious Ambiguity. You will find great ideas for toddlers and crafts at both of these blogs.
