Yes, she is!
My Princess is now able to swim. A little bit. With her UV 50 Flotation Swim Suit. But still. I am Super Proud! I mean she is only 2 1/2 years old.
This week, we pulled out the $4 clearance, BOYS flotation swimsuit (shhh.. don’t tell her. It is green!) that her Papa bought her last year. Daddy spent 1.5 hours in our pool and that was all it took. She was swimming like a fish. Well, a fish stuck in mostly one place. But really good nonetheless.
A common phrase we hear now from her at our pool is, “Let me go.” She wants to do it all by herself all the time. Daddy laughed and said, even though she doesn’t want to sleep in her own bed, or go potty on the toilet but she can swim. Yes, she can.
When we took off her swimsuit in the pool to wrap a towel around her, she jumped back in off the steps thinking she could swim without the flotation swimsuit. Nope. Not even close.
