We splurged on a ride pass for the Princess. Out of all the rides she rode, guess what her favorite one was? The glass house maze with funny mirrors upstairs. She went on it 5 times! It was cute to watch her wave her hand in front of her as she looked for glass blocking the pathway. At one point an older boy grabbed her hand and helped her through. (He had memorized the route and was happily leading small children with him.) When he left she looked for her ‘new friend’.
We visited all the animals and the baby piggies drinking mommy pig’s milk was her favorite thing. (Mine too.) She did think it was neat to see the big horse go poo poo. (Kids are strange like that aren’t they?) And by the end of the evening, we were tired and ready to go.
My highlight of the night? When we were driving the hour + drive to the fair, the Princess told me, “Mommy, I have to go pee pee.” So we stopped at the first gas station we saw, put her on the toilet, and she went pee pee. No accident in her diaper at all. Wow! She is getting to be a big girl.
