Today is my 11th anniversary. Can you believe it? How does 11 years go by so fast? It amazes me.
So today, as we celebrate our marriage together I just want to list 7 things about my husband I am thankful for:
- My husband does his devotional each morning. He loves God, and that makes me a very blessed woman.
- My husband makes me laugh every day. He is very funny. That makes the monotony of life go better.
- My husband is my friend. We were friends before we dated and we have remained friends all these years.
- My husband is a good father. He plays with my daughter and cooks with her. She is a daddy’s girl.
- My husband makes banana pancakes at least once a week and we love that.
- My husband cleans. I love that.
- My husband loves to eat healthy, exercise, and bargain shopping. How blessed am I?
So after 11 years of marriage, I know that I am blessed. It hasn’t been smooth sailing and simple all that time. In fact, marriage is quite difficult. You realize how selfish you are, and how much you need God to help make your marriage prosper. Without Him, we would not have made it all these years, and the many years to come. So a great BIG thank you to God, who has helped us all along the way.
