Went so well this week because my Princess is BRAVE. Very brave. We noticed a small spot on her molar and though maybe she had a cavity. I was praying hard that she would not have to endure a cavity at the age of 2.
After the first regular check up and cleaning with the hygienist there was no cavity. Whew! (We are super good about teeth brushing here since our Princess was a baby.) But they did mention that our Princess has deep grooves in her teeth making it easy for bacteria to live and no toothbrush to reach. So they recommended getting some sealants placed on the teeth.
This week was her appointment. And she did sooooo GOOD. She sat there, opened her mouth very wide, and let the dentists apply the gooey sealant. The assistant flattened it out on her teeth and to aid the hardening process the dentist put a little blue light in to her mouth. My baby never once closed her mouth, and he was done in minutes. And he was IMPRESSED with how well she did at 2. So was I! (Can’t you tell?)
She was given 3 tokens to redeem in the lobby for cheap plastic Made in China toys, which she LOVED. We walked out of there with smiles on our faces. Bragging all week of course.
