As we sat in the nightly meeting yesterday at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Hotlanta (Atlanta), my eye hurt. Very badly. I must admit, I was whining a little bit. (Or a lot.) So my Princess, being the sweet girl that she is, gently kissed right below my eye. Then she said, “Feels better now.” It still hurt but I felt better.
As we were laying in bed later that night, fighting with the Princess to PLEASE fall asleep, she saw squirming. When she threw her head back into the pillow she landed soundly against Daddy’s jaw. It hurt. Using the same tactic, she kissed daddy’s chin and said, “Feels better now.” Daddy told her, “No it doesn’t.” So she kissed him again and repeated her refrain.
When she fell on her bottom, very hard. She stood up and said, “Owwwie!” Then she kissed her own hand and touched it to her bottom. “Again saying, “Feels better now.”
