This week the Princess has formed an attachment to Toy Story 1 and 2. My father-in-law sent us a box of VHS children’s movies and this week my husband, Tyler, put in Toy Story (a favorite of both of ours) and she LOVED it! Which surprised us. She normally does not have more than 10 minutes attention span for cartoons. But not this time. Now she wants to watch it all the time. I actually have to limit it to once per day (in a couple intervals). Now I have the fabulous idea of buying it on DVD and bringing on the airplane! ๐ Oh, to have an easy airplane ride while she watches her favorite movie. Whoohoo!
Another thing she loves doing this week and just learned was “Hide, Hide, Hide” which says so cutely. Then she proceeds to hid behind the door, or chair, or bed, or wall and jump out and scream. She of course wants me to scream back since she has just “scared” me. It is cute and fun. But after doing it 10 times I want to move on to something else.
The last thing she loves this week is her new scissors. We work together and cut out food pictures in the circular or magazines. I then let her tape them to a blank paper. Once the page is full, I say, “Where is the broccoli?”, or “Where is the yogurt?”; she points to the item (and is always right). She loves this game. Sometimes I think she likes the tape the best. ๐
