So, while recovering from outpatient surgery, my family really stepped up and took care of Isabella. For a couple days, they had her most of the day. When she got home Saturday evening after being away from me for 7 whole hours, I gave her a BIG hug. And you know what she did? She pushed me away! I missed her so much, and all she wanted to do was get down and play! Well… I guess I can’t wish for a break and then miss her like crazy at the same time can I? (But isn’t that what motherhood is all about?) Her are some pics of her day out without mom:
