I have been discussing potty training with my husband and family for a little while now and to be honest I guess I have been a little lazy about it. I know my Princess is only 15 months old but I feel like there are times that she is acting in a way that she can go potty on the toilet.
So this morning I woke up, played with her for a little while, started to change her diaper, and realized that if I needed to go, then maybe she did too. Duh, right? So we went into the bathroom and both went to the bathroom at the same time! It was the first time she went pee pee on her new chair. I was very excited. She got one M&M and we danced and sang, “Pee Pee in the Potty”. She was happy; mommy was happy. We tried again before shower time but no luck. I am actually excited to try again tomorrow morning.
So besides putting your children on the toilet first thing in the morning, are there any other “tricks” you have learned for potty training?
