We took advantage of the 73 degree weather yesterday and went outside. My wonderful husband decided to clean the gutters since it may rain this week. (Rain? Yuck.) And Isabella and I went down the stairs from the deck and up the stairs from the deck, and down and up, and down and up. I don’t even know how many times we did it. I really began to get painfully bored. There are only 5 steps but she did not want to quit. When are stairs going to quit being so exciting for her? Whenever I open our door to the garage, I hurry so she doesn’t see the stairs. If she does she will whine to get out the door, and down those stairs. Honestly, I am not very good at doing the same thing 25 times. I need tolerance and patience very badly. (I still get scared praying those prayers though, I mean, God might just send me lots of situations to practice those virtues. Oh boy!)
After I finally placed a barrier to the steps we just played on the deck. We brought out a small blanket and had water, grapes, and Tings. If you haven’t tried tings, they are delicious; they are what I call “vegan junkfood“. We even took out the broom and swept off the deck. (We live at 2500 feet and have lots of evergreen trees with pine needles galore!) Isabella even tried her best to sweep too. It was a wonderful sunny California spring afternoon. Don’t you just love those days?
