Chicken? Well at least it was organic.

October 8, 2008 By LaVonne

Spread the love

Well, my daughter is not quite 10 months old and she ate chicken!

I was feeding her a left over Gerber Organic winter squash mixed with corn and she finished it. So I took out a new 3rd stage Earth’s Best Organic Soup – split pea and carrot.

She took her first bite of this new soup and made a small face but liked it well enough. After the third bite, I noticed something on the front that I didn’t see when I bought it at BRU. The two small words that I should have noticed – “with chicken”.
Oh well, at least it was organic.
I should also mention that today while I was eating a chocolate chip granola bar she grabbed the bar so quickly and put it in her mouth that I didn’t have a chance to get it away from her until I could remove that little tiny chocolate chip from her lips.

Of course, she cried. She liked that taste. So I quickly gave her an arrowroot cookie (which she loves) and she soon forgot my granola bar.

Chicken and Chocolate? 9 months old babies love it!

Well, now we know for sure that chocolate love is a trait that women are BORN with! Now you’ll have trouble with it for the rest of her life! lol

    She’s adorable, LaVonne.

Augh! LOL. Yeah, it doesn’t kill her. We found that out with Anaya around the same age, I think. Can’t remember if it was turkey or what, something at a relative’s house. And that wasn’t the only time. I think we have stuck to clean meats, at least. 😀

    I’m enjoying your blog!

    Love,

    Nicole
