My daughter has had speech delays since she was a toddler. She talked a bit later than I expected her to and then some of her sounds weren't correct. I didn't worry. Most toddlers have difficulty saying certain letter sounds and blend sounds. When she was preschool age she was making progress on her own and was mastering some of the letter sounds and blend sounds that she previously couldn't say. Family Game Night on the Road
When we travel to other states we generally fly and rent a vehicle. The travel time is greatly reduced from Seattle and it is much easier with two young kids. I mean, really, who loves traveling in a van for a few days with young children? Not me, that's for sure. But the downside to that kind of travel is we are limited to our suitcases.
