Purple and Gold Bridal Shower

November 1, 2013 By LaVonne

Spread the love

Content and/or other value provided by our partner, Target.

So my oldest and dearest friend is getting married. I am ecstatic. Knowing her, and her love of the University of Washington Huskies, she’d be so happy if I planned a purple and gold bridal shower. Don’t you just love the internet? You see, I am not the only one who has thought of a purple and gold party. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of purple and gold party ideas that I can easily turn into bridal shower party ideas.

Here are just a few ideas I think would be great for a purple and gold bridal shower

purple and gold party

  • purple and gold nail polish favors
  • cupcakes with purple frosting in gold foil liners
  • cupcake toppers with gold and purple heart
  • gold wrapped candy in clear glass bowls with purple ribbon and label around bowl
  • pretzels dipped in chocolate with purple and gold sprinkles
  • purple and gold tissue paper flowers for an affordable backdrop
  • individual blueberry pies
  • dipped Oreo’s in purple melted candy
  • purple and gold Christmas ornaments for a table center piece
  • baked chocolate doughnuts with purple and gold sprinkles
  • large gold trays for serving food
  • purple and gold balloons, utensils, plates, and napkins

Ok, so you get the picture, right? I could have spent all night looking at purple and gold party ideas. Truly.

To make this party idea a reality, I am glad that I have a Target nearby for absolutely wonderful bridal shower necessities. Target’s new program, “Be Yourself, Together” is so perfect for my friend and her fiance. They are both so unique and independent. They give each other the room to be themselves but still can be together, in a union, raising their children.

The Target Wedding Catalog actually makes it easy to find things that I would need, not only for a bridal shower, but also for a wedding present. Here are two things I’d love to have for this purple and gold bridal shower and I know they’d make great wedding gifts too!

When my husband and I were married over 14 years ago we registered at Target. I loved that experience.

Have you used the Target Wedding Registry before? Amazing fun, truly.

You know what else is great? Target will be providing one lucky Long Wait For Isabella reader a $25 Target gift card! {You have no idea how addicted I am to Target. I’d be there daily if I could!} So enter the Rafflecopter form below for your chance to win. Open to US residents 18+. Good luck!
