Preschool on the Laptop

December 30, 2010 By LaVonne

Spread the love

My Princess got a mouse in her stocking this year. Since she has been regularly doing her Preschool lessons on the computer, we decided to introduce her to the mouse. She has been using the laptop “mouse” (what is that called?) and is used to that. So this week has been difficult for her to use the new mouse. But, the mouse is “her size”, which makes her very happy so she is persisting.

I belong to The Christian Homeschool Hub and the latest conversation has been about Homeschool programs and what people use. I am wondering if I should purchasing a Preschool program. What do you guys think? If you homeschool, when did you start buying actual grade programs?

I want her to learn what she is supposed to be learning, but I also want to do it as economically as possible.

Up next on our learning agenda: practicing spelling her name. She recognizes all the letters in her name now, so I am going to focus on putting them together and having her practice them each day until she can do it. I can’t wait, she is going to be so excited (me too!).
