Christian Easter Fun

Spread the love

It is important in our family to keep the message of a Risen Savior – Jesus Christ – in our Easter holiday. While, we do have a lot of fun with friends and family having an Easter party with baskets and egg hunts and new clothes we love to find new ways to incorporate Jesus in our day of festivities.

I found some great ideas that I wanted to share with you all. Ways to keep Jesus a part of Easter.

I agree with the premise of the things you included in this post. We should always be reminded about the reason for the Easter season- Christ who rose from the dead after suffering for our sins.

We put a small white porcelain statue of Christ posed praying in Gethsemane placed on a gold table runner with the quote from Matthew 28:6: “He is not here…He is risen as He said.”

Thanks for the great ideas. I want my little ones to understand the true meaning of Easter and these are lovely ideas that I can get the kids involved in. Happy Easter

We used to make Resurrection Rolls when by boys were in preschool. Very similar to the cookies, but yours sound yummier. Another suggestion for this year… We’ve been watching “The Bible” miniseries on The History Channel, which concludes this Sunday with the story of The Passion. Fortunately, we remembered to DVR the whole series, and we plan on having a Bible marathon this weekend, culminating in the finale on Easter night. It’s been a great medium for my boys to discuss their faith and individual grasp of the Bible.

I have not been able to catch much of The Bible miniseries. I am going to buy it when it comes out next month on Blu-ray. What I did catch looked great! Thanks for stopping by! Heading to your blog next.
