summer quote

When my six year old says I’m bored I usually tell her to go clean or organize something. It works. She stays busy and usually ends up playing with whatever I told her to put away. This week asked my family what they wanted to do this summer – a summer bucket list so to speak. Here are some things on our list that we want to do this summer:

  1. Water Park
  2. State Fair
  3. Camping at the Coast
  4. Hotel Stay with Pool and Breakfast
  5. Back-yard Campout
  6. Drive-In Movie
  7. Put up a Sheet in Backyard for a DIY Drive In Movie
  8. Boat Ride to San Juan Island
  9. U-Pick Strawberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries
  10. Can Salmon
  11. Dehydrate Fruit
  12. Make Homeless Bags
  13. Bike Ride as a Family
  14. Visit Mt. Baker and Baker Lake
  15. Read More Books

What is on your summer bucket list?

dove advanced care

Thankfully, during all the fun we will be having this summer I have Dove advanced care deodorant. Dove Advanced Care moisturizes underarm skin to provide softer, smoother underarms in just three days. Dove Advanced Care offers 48-hour odor and wetness protection and is available in a wide variety of signature Dove fragrances.

I have enjoyed Dove advanced care as we’ve been working on our front yard, staining our deck, cleaning out and organizing our office, and putting bunk beds in our kids room! (All that was just this week! Whew I’ve been busy!) Dove has kept my underarms moisturized and smelling great! Plus, I went to a luncheon where I wore a summer dress and Dove advanced care made me feel confident. I love Dove!

What a great list! I have been talking to my boys about creating a summer bucket list… but we haven’t finalized our wishes. ๐Ÿ™‚

My six year old liked the idea of deciding on what to do this summer. I think she will be adding to this list. We’ll see if we can get to them all. These 15 are doable though and we’ll have fun!

Love this idea! We’ve actually done #13 and #15 so far, and we’re hitting a water park as a family (with my parents too) the end of this month.

I’d love to take the kids to a drive-in movie, and do a backyard campout!

We did a drive-in movie last summer for the first time and saw Disney Planes and the kids LOVED it. We can’t wait to again this summer. But we’ve never had our own backyard drive in movie with a sheet and projector. That’ll be fun!

Can’t wait to create our list, too! Thanks for the inspiration! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I love seeing make homeless bags on your list. I am hoping to get a long weekend at the beach this summer.

Our church had put some together and let any of the members take the bags to hand out. We loved the idea. Those ran out quickly so we’d like to put some together and just leave a couple in our vehicles at all times. My six year old LOVED it. So yes, I want to do it this summer.

1,2,3,6, and 9 are all definitely on our list for the summer! We usually do a variation of the bags for the homeless, for a women’s shelter that is local to us, but haven’t done it for a while, so this is a good reminder!

Yes, we have a women’s shelter about 2 miles away. I need to call them and see what the need this summer. They love getting donations too. Thanks for that reminder, Audrey!

Number 9 sounds like so much fun. I love eating berries in the summer time. ๐Ÿ˜‰
