My Son Only Wants to Play Outside

My Son Only Wants to Play Outside

Now that Spring has arrived, my Little Man only wants to play outside. All day. Everyday. It is exhausting. This kid doesn’t like to watch cartoons for more than ten minutes, doesn’t want to read books, he just wants to play outside. Preferably, outside with anything with wheels. So he’ll sit in our van or car for an hour just pretending to drive around. He’ll climb back and forth from seat to seat, never getting bored.

the jeep

His newest love is to ride on the Jeep that belongs to his sister. He just learned last week how to drive it; in circles around the driveway right now. When it is time to come inside, long after the sun has gone down below the trees and we are all freezing, he screams. Literally screams. Screaming is his second favorite thing to do right now. Thankfully, the hitting phase has passed, but the screaming phase is here to stay. Please Lord, help the screaming phase to pass soon too. We call him our Little Monster.

All this outdoor play means he is not coming inside for water and snacks. So I have to keep him hydrated and full. Thankfully, and aptly named for him, we have the Nuby iMonster Snack Keeper. This little snack keeper is sturdy. In fact, I have a hard time even opening it. Made of sturdy BPA Free plastic, this snack keeper is a great little kids product to have. My son thinks it is fun – he loves monsters right now.

No more messy snacks! Our unique Snack Keeper™ cup keeps kid-sized snacks inside the container instead of on the floor or car seat. The soft silicone flaps make it easy to grab snacks without spilling. Nûby™ feeding accessories are made to withstand the challenges of daily use and retain their bright color.

This would be nice to have for my 1 year old grandson, he learned how to feed himself awhile back. One of his favorite things to eat is baked chicken. He loves that stuff!

It is so nice when they can feed themselves. My son loves snacking on strawberries and crackers 🙂
