Family Game Night on the Road

February 9, 2014 By LaVonne

Spread the love

When we travel to other states we generally fly and rent a vehicle. The travel time is greatly reduced from Seattle and it is much easier with two young kids. I mean, really, who loves traveling in a van for a few days with young children? Not me, that’s for sure. But the downside to that kind of travel is we are limited to our suitcases. For this trip to Baton Rouge we brought 3 large suitcases and 1 garment bag.

We have mastered the art of packing light. Besides about 6 outfits each, we bring toiletries, homeschool material, toys, and games. We have to bring the smaller toys and games that don’t take up lots of room. Usually we can only bring card games, which works because my daughter loves card games. But for this trip we brought a new game for family game night.

We brought the You Who? board game from Brighter Child® Games in our suitcase for this trip. This fun game is a guessing game that my Princess LOVES. Honestly, I love it too. Using clues to match the character cards you have to figure out who your opponents character is. When I see my Princess using her reasoning skills to figure out the card I have, I am truly impressed.

About You Who?

Can you keep a secret? Who will you be in You Who?, a mystery guessing game for ages 6 and up. Go undercover and be the first to the finish without being discovered to complete your mission! Great for small groups in classroom settings, at home, or on the go, You Who? will keep children playing, interacting, and learning for hours! Games are an ideal resource for small-group activities, hands-on learning, and basic skill reinforcement. Includes game board, 12 character cards, 4 character cheat sheets, 80 object cards, 4 game pieces and 1 die. 2-4 players.

We were also sent Jungle Rumble and Bump It. You can find all three fun and educational games on the Carson-Dellosa Publishing.
