A Valentine Gift for Teacher

February 4, 2015 By LaVonne

Spread the love

teacher gift

We love my daughter’s new teacher! If you missed our announcement last month, we have quit homeschooling and we put her into a highly academic private Christian school in our county. I’ve been driving 27 minutes each morning and afternoon to bring her and it has been worth it. She loves it and she loves her teacher.

To thank her teacher this Valentine’s Day, I wanted to get her a special Valentine gift. I don’t know about you but I really love shopping in-store and online at Family Christian. There are so many great gift options and the website is organized so nicely with many frequent specials. I found four great gifts to give to my daughter’s teacher including a Faithful Servant pen, chocolates, a tote bag, and this cute mug.

I knew I wanted to get my Princess’ teacher a nice mug and I found a very pretty one at FamilyChristian.com. This quote is nice:

May all the love you give away, come back to fill your heart each day.

Once I saw this mug, I also knew I wanted to create a printable Teacher Valentine’s Day card. I’ve seen variations of this card online, and this is my version of it:

Teacher you are tea-riffic! I attached an herbal tea bag right onto the card. Easy, simple, and cute — that’s my kind of Valentine’s Day card.

Do your give your kid’s teacher a gift or card on Valentine’s Day?

If you’d like to print your own “Tea-riffic” Valentine’s Cards for your child’s teacher here is the image. Simply right click and open in a new window for the full size and print.

So then I am not the only one who gets the teacher a gift? That’s good to know! We are pretty excited about this holiday since it is my daughter’s first in a “real” school outside the home.

We never did Valentine’s Day gifts for the teachers. But, we did do Christmas gifts and the tea-riffic idea would be great for that.

This is such a cute idea! My little guys are in first grade and preschool, I have been trying to think of a cute gift to send in for their teachers. This mug would be perfect :). I am thinking of adding some cookies too.

Those are some wonderful presents that I am sure her teacher will adore. When I was teaching I loved the thoughtfulness that some children/parents put in to showing their appreciation of the efforts I put in to educating their child each day. This is beautiful! Love the card too. ๐Ÿ™‚
