Spread the love

tulip festival

We made it home from Arkansas. April is such a beautiful time to be home in Western Washington. This week we visited the Skagit County Tulip Festival so we could take a family photo.

And with the bright sun and wind we didn’t get very many great shots. Here was my favorite family photo:

Thank you for coming by to link up. I appreciate it. I love the tulips too. We have a lot more fields this was just one stop. The tourists go crazy but it is fun. Plus, they make for great photos!

Ohhh, the town I call home…Mount Vernon WA! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve gone out to the fields a few times this year and plan on many more visits over the next few weeks. Oddly enough, I haven’t posted any of my tulip images yet! The tree in my post last week was living in a field between two other tulips fields…does that kinda count? ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you had a great time and thanks for sharing!

I just returned from Arkansas too. My husband inherited the family farm. Love it down there. But when I returned to the Chicago area we didn’t have Tulips. Almost two weeks of rain every day
