shell garden

We arrived to Northern California this last week and had some sunshine! Off to Moonstone Beach to play! We decided to make a Shell Garden.

What is a shell garden you ask?

Scour the beach with the kiddos and find as many shells as possible. {Broken shells are just fine.}

Flatten your sand for a garden, make rows and “plant” your shells. 30 minutes of Fun Fun Fun!

What do you like to do at the beach?

    So did you sprout any baby shells. I wish I lived near a beach because if I did, I’d have a lot of answers about what to do at one.

      Well, my Princess loves to make a “garden” on my back and we have also pretended to have a garden in our pool. So making a “garden” in the sand was normal for her. I just told her let’s walk the beach and pick up every shell we see and “plant” them in your garden. She loved it πŸ™‚
