My Princess figured something out recently. It is fun to watch her sort through her thoughts and ask good questions.
She started our conversation by asking, “Who was in Auntie’s tummy?“
I proceeded to tell her all four of her cousins were in Auntie’s tummy at one time.
She then said, “I didn’t know you can have four babies.”
So I explained that yes, women can have four and even more babies.
Which led to, “Then why are we only having 2? I want 3 more!”
Daddy quickly interrupted by telling her we will get a dog and a cat when she gets older which will be like having 4 in the family.
That idea made her happy.
For now.
