We played and learned with Playskool as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. This Thanksgiving we are taking a multigenerational family vacation to Florida. We'll be spending a week in Key West and then spend three days in Daytona Beach. During the time we are in Daytona Beach I am going to take the kids up to Disney World. We are all pretty excited about the vacation this year. Are you taking a family vacation soon? If so, where will you be heading? Flying with Kids: Tips and … [Read more...]

Patriot Day: Preschool Flag Crafts

September 4, 2015 By LaVonne

Patriot Day is coming up quickly. Which to me means fun and exciting preschool flag crafts with my Little Man. Did you know that Patriot Day is this month? What is Patriot Day? In the United States, Patriot Day observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, occurs on September 11 of each year in memory of the 2,977 killed in the 2001 September 11 attacks. Preschool: Learning Colors and Shapes

August 28, 2015 By LaVonne

learning colors and shapes

We played and learned with Playskool in this sponsored post. Learning is fun. At least it should be, don't you think? I haven't started any official Preschool with my Little Man before this school year coming up, but through play time he learned his shapes and colors before the age of three. That is one thing I've appreciated the Playskool toys - they aren't just for play, though they are very fun for kids, they also help kids learn. [Tweet "Learning and play go hand in hand. … [Read more...]

Explaining Box Tops to Preschoolers

August 28, 2015 By LaVonne

Last week, while my Princess and I were shopping for products with Bonus Box Tops for Education, I was able to try my best to explain what Box Tops were to my preschool age son and why we collect them. Of course, my son was interested and since he is currently learning to cut with preschool age appropriate scissors, he wants to cut out the Box Tops all by himself! About Box Tops for Education Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs. Over 80,000 k-8 schools … [Read more...]

Preschool Curriculum Organization

August 25, 2015 By LaVonne

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #SchoolYearReady #CollectiveBias I mentioned last week that my Little Man is going to start Preschool next month. He will attend the preschool here in our local town with other friends, acquaintances, and even family members. It will be three hours per day and honestly, I am a bit apprehensive but truthfully I am mostly excited. It takes a big heart to shape little minds.  I … [Read more...]

Summer Learning is Simple with Carson-Dellosa

June 30, 2015 By LaVonne

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carson-Dellosa. I reviewed the free content on their website to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation. Our former neighbor is a middle school teacher for our local school district and last week, while walking together, she told me that summer slide, or loss of learning during the summer months, definitely occurs. That's why it is important for parents to work with their … [Read more...]
