We got snow last week in Western Washington. I know for many of you that is not very exciting. You’ve been dealing with snow for months now. But snow is not as common here in the Puget Sound, and when it does come down, everyone in our household gets pretty excited.

With winter weather, and our family travel lifestyle, health is on the forefront of our minds as parents. Staying healthy in the winter months takes planning and good choices. Thankfully, many of the places we stay have a pool so we can get exercise as a family and still have fun.

It is important for our family to also eat healthy not just during the winter months but year round. Last summer, we froze some organic strawberries. We like to use them in healthy smoothies and frozen yogurt pops. I eat Greek yogurt daily. You can find great yogurt options (even non-dairy ones) that contain live and active cultures. These healthy probiotics are just what we need in the winter months.

Not a big fan of yogurt? Another great way to get the natural probiotic that your body needs is by using Insync Probiotic®. Not familiar with Insync Natural Probiotic®?

#NaturalProbiotic

insync® has GI Guard®, a gradual release caplet that protects delicate probiotics from heat, moisture and stomach acids. This enables helpful bacteria to arrive alive, so they may do their beneficial work. Every caplet of insync® delivers six strains of natural, beneficial probiotics to help support digestive system balance.

In addition to an active family lifestyle and healthy eating, I have been using insync® daily. I want to stay healthy this winter and beyond and insync® is helping me with that goal. By keeping my digestive tract running smoothly (pun intended), I am staying healthy during the season that sickness abounds! {Get your insync probiotic at a Walgreens near you!}

    Those yogurt pops looks yummy. I will have to try those out. I don’t really have a winter here in Florida. I miss the snow 🙂

      Snow is nice when it comes sparingly. Thankfully, here in Western Washington we don’t get too much. And yes, those yogurt pops are yummy. They are a hit with the kids!

    I will definitely be making these for my daughter. How much of the chia seeds and flax seed did you use?

      I sprinkled about a tablespoon of each into the mix. It really is up to you. I better go back and add that. Thanks for asking!
